Virtual Sales Gallery

  • The Gardens Gallery now offers you the opportunity to purchase artists’ work on line either prior to their exhibition in the Gallery or following their ‘live’ exhibition.
  • If you are interested in purchasing any of the art works shown, please contact the artist direct.
  • This is an exciting opportunity for local artists to showcase their work to an even wider audience.  If you are interesting in booking space on our Virtual Sales Gallery, please click here.

  • We have created a Virtual Sales Gallery to enable artists to sell their work on line for up to a 3 month period for a reasonable booking fee.  The only condition we make is that artists must have held an exhibition in the Gardens Gallery over the past 12 months or have booked an exhibition and paid their deposit.
  • Space on the Virtual Gallery can be booked for up to 3 months:

£20 for one month

£25 for two months

£30 for three months

  • We charge no commission on the sale of any work and would advertise your contact details to enable interested buyers to contact you direct.
  • If you would like to book space on our Virtual Sales Gallery, please download the booking form here.

The Gardens were originally developed in the early 1800's and its centrepiece is the Bandstand.

Facing the Bandstand is the Proscenium Building where we now have our Gallery.

Follow for a history of the gardens and for information about Friends of the Bandstand and Gardens(FOMBAG).

  1. There is wheelchair access to the gallery from the path between the tennis courts and the gallery.
  2. For exhibitors delivering their work, there is a locked bollard to be removed at the gardens entrance. See link below for details.
  3. Unfortunately, there is no disabled parking in the gardens.
  4. Exhibitors should take care to design their exhibition layout with wheelchair use in mind.

For full information about accessibility, please follow this link:

 Typical annual foot-fall is 22000.

If we take out the impact of Festivals then the weekly average is 400 per week.

This varies according to the variables of weather, social media, networking, number of artists, and the appeal of the Exhibition
