The Points Of View exhibition at the Gardens Gallery features recent work by three well-known local artists. Landscape, in its widest sense, is the main focus of the exhibition, which explores each artist’s approach to the genre. Betty Harrison’s atmospheric landscapes, Sally Wyatt’s expressive abstracts and Mike Duckering’s evocative urban scenes, all use differing media and mark making in their interpretations. And yet, in this bold and cohesive display, the paintings successfully complement each other, and reveal how personal perceptions influence visual expression.
