Adele Lambert and Alice Adams


  •  Adele Lambert was trained at the Royal College of Art, worked as an Art Therapist, Lecturer and Teacher. She has exhibited at the Royal Academy, The Royal West of England and various galleries’ in Britain and France.
  • Alice Adams studied at the Ruskin School of Fine art and obtained an OU Arts Degree in 1995. 1990-2003 she studied with Robin Child of Lydgate Art Research Centre, working particularly on methods and work of C20 masters. Alice mainly works in oils, watercolour and pastel creating landscape and still-life. She is interested in abstraction with colour being very important.

The Gardens were originally developed in the early 1800's and its centrepiece is the Bandstand.

Facing the Bandstand is the Proscenium Building where we now have our Gallery.

  1. There is wheelchair access to the gallery from the path between the tennis courts and the gallery.
  2. For exhibitors delivering their work, there is a locked bollard to be removed at the gardens entrance. See link below for details.
  3. Unfortunately, there is no disabled parking in the gardens.
  4. Exhibitors should take care to design their exhibition layout with wheelchair use in mind.
