We are six professional artists who have come together to present their different artistic explorations of ‘Jazz’ music. Considering all the forms of Jazz: structure, harmony, texture, rhythm and swing we present a colourful, vibrant and dynamic show of interest to art lovers and jazz enthusiasts alike. Our exhibition contains abstract interpretations, visual riffing on classical and modern jazz and figurative portraits of jazz musicians in action.
The artists both individually and in groups have exhibited widely in the South West and West Midlands area. All of us have work in private National and International collections. We are very excited to offer up our show and to celebrates the links we have discovered between music and art.
The exhibition contains over 60 pictures all done recently in response to the theme. All work is for sale and there will also be postcards and posters available.
Artist CV’s and written statements will also be displayed so visitors may learn more about us.
During the week of the Jazz Festival (29/4 – 6/5) we will be in the gallery to discuss our work and share our passions. Please do come along and see what we have done. You are very welcome.
