  • This May, a collection of artists present their new spring collection of art, illustration and design. The exhibition ‘Bloom’ will run from 8th – 14th May, showcasing an array of work and displaying an exciting range of disciplines. These will include children’s illustration, editorial and advertising work, greetings card designs, life drawing, fashion illustration and crafts. The artists use a wide variety of media, ranging from but not limited to watercolour, collage and gouache.

 

  • The name “Bloom” is inspired by the season of spring, and reflects the fresh and exciting talent and diverse work on show.

 

  • Artists exhibiting include Sophia Bloxham, Lucy Boden, Liz Clayton, Emma Ridgway and Katie Thomas.

 

  • Original artworks, limited edition prints, postcards, greetings cards and hand made crafts will be available to purchase at the exhibition. You will also be able to meet the artists whose work is on show.

MONTPELLIER GARDENS

The Gardens were originally developed in the early 1800's and its centrepiece is the Bandstand.

Facing the Bandstand is the Proscenium Building where we now have our Gallery.

ACCESS

  1. There is wheelchair access to the gallery from the path between the tennis courts and the gallery.
  2. For exhibitors delivering their work, there is a locked bollard to be removed at the gardens entrance. See link below for details.
  3. Unfortunately, there is no disabled parking in the gardens.
  4. Exhibitors should take care to design their exhibition layout with wheelchair use in mind.

 Typical annual foot-fall is 22000.

If we take out the impact of Festivals then the weekly average is 400 per week.

This varies according to the variables of weather, social media, networking, number of artists, and the appeal of the Exhibition
