1st – 7th August | Rupert Aker

From the 1st – 7th August local artist Ruper Aker will be exhibiting his oil paintings with palette knife of Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswold landscape. The exhibition will also feature ceramic works by Molly Abbott..

15th – 21st August | Christine Smith

Near and Far – An exhibition of paintings from home and abroad by Christine Smith, Frances Arrow, Jane Ware and Jo Hurlston.
 
Artworks vary in style from realistic to abstract in a range of medium and are complimented by items of fused glass by Caroline Priest.

22nd – 28th August | CPiC | Creative Photographers in Cheltenham

In their fourth collective exhibition Creative Photographers in Cheltenham (CPiC) present their work, “CPiC”, at the Gardens Gallery, from Wednesday 22nd August to Tuesday 28th August 2018.

29th August – 4th September | Plants, Planets & Pots

Plants, Planets & Pots is an art exhibition by three Gloucestershire Artists at The Gardens Gallery, Montpellier Gardens Cheltenham.

Karen Green will be showing her botanical art, abstract artist Gerald Crittle’s paintings will include views of planets from far away galaxies and potter Ann Sohn-Rethel will display her decorative and functional ceramics.

MONTPELLIER GARDENS

The Gardens were originally developed in the early 1800's and its centrepiece is the Bandstand.

Facing the Bandstand is the Proscenium Building where we now have our Gallery.

ACCESS

  1. There is wheelchair access to the gallery from the path between the tennis courts and the gallery.
  2. For exhibitors delivering their work, there is a locked bollard to be removed at the gardens entrance. See link below for details.
  3. Unfortunately, there is no disabled parking in the gardens.
  4. Exhibitors should take care to design their exhibition layout with wheelchair use in mind.
