- Claudia’s paintings are inspired by energy, light and atmosphere, the subject matter is of lesser importance to her. She paints almost exclusively plein air, finding it exciting not knowing what will capture her attention next.
- Landscapes, seascapes and the elements have always been Molly’s starting points, though now she is beginning to reference architecture as well. The ideas come together with her other loves – colour, texture and pattern.
- Philips work refers to landscape and the environment. He works his prints from drawings made in the field. The etchings and prints reflect not only that experience but the medium he used at the time.
