29th Sept-1st Oct – Mary Grundy

Mary Grundy Original Paintings

29th September – 1st October 2017

  • In 2010 I made the decision to leave behind my corporate career and focus on my life long passion, painting. I studied a year foundation in oil and watercolour immersing me in the art world, and I haven’t looked back.

  • I work from my studio here in the Cotswolds, predominantly in Oil, Watercolours and Pastel. I find these mediums achieve the colour and light I was so inspired by on late trips to Morocco, Venice and Cornwall.

  • I paint intuitively and I have a painterly style, which is inspired by the Impressionist painters, in particular my favourite artist is Berthe Morisot.

  • Having been interested in angels and healing for a long time, I have recently developed this subject matter in my work, painting Angelic figurative pieces alongside the landscapes and portraiture of both pets and people I know.

  • I am also a commission-based artist, and love to work with clients to achieve a bespoke painting.

  • I hold open studios on a regular basis where my collections are displayed and available to buy alongside my FaceBook, Instagram and Websites where some of my work is displayed.
