Our footfall has started to rise again and artists who exhibit are selling more work: two important indicators!

In 2017 we are delivering a change which we decided on two years ago: a different way of working with the Jazz and Literature Festivals.

For the Jazz Festival we invited applications from Gloucestershire based artists to exhibit at the Festival during which the Gallery will, for the first time, be part of the Festival.

The application which most resonated with Jazz was by Victoria Rees- an artist who designs textiles specialising in musical themes. See “Jazz Festival” under the Exhibitions tab or click here.

For the Literature Festival the Gardens Gallery Community Interest Company will be curating an Exhibition as part of the Literature Festival entitled:

“Cheltenham , who do we think we are?”

Exhibits for this Open Exhibition will be selected from entries from all those artists and Organisations which have exhibited at the Gallery these last 10 years: A wealth of talent and a challenging theme.
