  • The exhibition will be an eclectic mix of work produced over recent years by five local artists. The work includes watercolours, acrylics, oils as well as mixed media across a variety of subject matter.
  • Barbara Holt took up painting in retirement and has enjoyed developing her interest, mainly in oils, in an impressionistic style.
  • Mike Nadin took up painting ten years ago working mainly in watercolour and regularly exhibits at Art in the Park. Mike is also a keen photographer.
  • Mick Walsh has an interest in Art since school and through to his studies for a Bachelor of Education degree. He took up painting ten years ago following retirement working in acrylics, watercolours and pastels. He has exhibited at the Gardens Gallery, Lower Slaughter, Art in the Woods and Art in the Park in Cheltenham.
  • Alwyn Wilson has been able to indulge in her interest in art following retirement. She particularly enjoys trying to portray the tranquillity and atmosphere of the beauty in landscapes. Her formative years were spent in Lake District and this still influences her choice of subjects.
  • Antje Smith took up painting some time ago working mainly in watercolours but also in acrylics, oils and mixed media. She has exhibited at various locations around Gloucestershire.
