The Gardens Gallery is Cheltenham's Community Art Gallery for  local artists to exhibit their work to the public, and for other  arts-related activities.

The gallery is located within the newly refurbished Proscenium Building in Cheltenham's Montpellier Gardens and is close to the main shopping area and tourist attractions. 

The Gardens Gallery is available to hire by local artists and entry to exhibitions by the public is free.

1 – 7 July 2009

Jan Whitton:  Exhibition of Landscapes and Seascapes.

This year, in addition to Jan Whitton's traditional landscapes, the centre piece of the exhibition is a series of works inspired by her view of life beneath the waves.

8 – 21 July 2009

‘SuB roSa’: Judith Barker,  Belinda Durrant, Jane Garbett, Annie Hobson, Barbara Southcott, Caroline Tate, Pippa Tideman and Carolyn Watts

A group comprising eight artists who work in a variety of disciplines through an entrancing exploration of the hidden and the implied.

 

22 – 28 July 2009

‘Phat Yamma’s Art Club’:  Paul Carpenter, Simon Slater & Emma Robertson

A mixture of medium/large scale oil & acrylic work, abstract colour field & mixed media pieces.

 

29 July – 4 August 2009

‘Fire & Ice’:  Millie Joynes & John Bromley

An exhibition of images & ceramics.
