Examples of Bob’s work

This commission came from a large family whose Granny lived in this house until she passed away.
The house is in Portishead village alongside the church, It had been over-powered by a new red roof whose presence I reduced to a few lines enabling me to concentrate on the Ecclesiastic stone buttress window and the open aspect in the ground floor.
The stonework also became a feature emphasising the age and origins of the building.
A commission from an American lady whose enthusiasm for the lovely town of Cheltenham is transparent.
The tree lined streets and squares combined with Terraces of Edwardian Architecture are typical.
Getting a good treatment of light and shadow was key but also adding in contemporary details of businesses and sign posts gives the work a contemporary setting.
